about

This is the debut live EP release by The James Patrick Gavin Trio recorded at the Welsh Chapel, central London, Febuary 2019.

London Irish fiddle player James Patrick Gavin (Teyr, Chewing The Fat) gathers jazz bassist/composer Tim Fairhall (Yasmin Levy, John Martin's 'The Hidden Notes') and folk guitarist/vocalist Adrian Lever (Alma, Arhai) to explore pathways between tradition, creation and improvisation - weaving fresh and dynamic sounds from their diverse roots.

The EP captures them live, raw and acoustic in the impressive sound-space of the Welsh Chapel.
